New years resolutions?

I never make new years resolutions but this year i thought i needed to make some changes for the year!
1. Lose 20 pounds
2. Read more books
3. Try new cooking and baking techniques and classes

Thanks it.... that's my plan for the year! Working on each one everyday!

Losing the baby weight has been an ongoing struggle so that's nothing new lol
I never read i always watch TV so I'm going to try and read more for entertainment. Get my mind going and working!
 I love cooking and baking and this is the year for new experiences. I have signed up for a baking class for next month and i cant wait!

Took a blogging break and now im back

I have not blogged in months. With the holidays and tiring to diet i put the blogging on the back burner. But with things slowing down now i have more time to collect my thoughts. I have continued to change my eating habits. It has truly been harder then expected to stop eating horribly. I tried the whole cold Turkey thing and that was a no go. I have realized i need to make smaller goals that i can achieve rather then overload myself too soon. A life time of ad habits cant be reversed in a day, or even a month. I have almost totally cut out soda from my diet now. Which has been a real struggle. Coming from a soda drinking its been hard to cut the habit and cravings. But i now will have sips and not cans. Which is a great! I have slowly been cutting out more and more carbs. Started buying gluten free items and my family cant tell the difference which i love! So sneaky. I have made working out a priority at least 4 times a week. Baby steps but its all in a positive direction
