DAY ONE WEEK ONE>>>>

sweaty and tired! 

The dvd was harder then i thought it was going to be and its not easy working out with a toddler around your feet! Chloe is so sweet giving me kisses as i do push ups and sit ups! I want to show her that working out is an important thing to do! 

Eating and living healthy! Take one!

So i have officially started a diet! Ugh...well not a diet but a healthy lifestyle change! I actually started yesterday by using fitness pal to mark all my calories for the day! Cut out my soda drinking to a few sips a few times a week! which is a big step for me! I am lowering my dairy intake and upping my workout times. I currently weigh in at.......yeah right like i am going to tell anyone how much i weigh ha! I need to lose 20 pounds to get where i need to be for my BMI. I started the 30 day shred my Jillian Michael's which is a combo of weight training and cardio....i am hoping i can stick to it this time! 

Pumpkin Patches in Las vegas

Hey mommies....
October is in full swing and its time to get out and patch it up. Pumpkin patches I mean lol so here's what i have found so far. We went to the patch on rainbow and warm springs. This patch was very cute has tons of pumpkins of all sizes and i think its great for the little ones 3 and under. There are inflatable slides and things for the little ones to do. We also went to the one on Las vegas BLVD and silverado ranch and this one is not good for the little ones. All the rides have height requirements and Chloe being a tiny 20 mth old could not ride anything! UGH! they do have ponies though which alot of little ones like and its a great patch for the bigger kids! they have really fun rides like turning cars and a small roller coaster! Fun for the whole family! Have fun out there and let me know if you see any better ones out there!

pumpkin spice m&ms mission...failed...but herseys pulled through!

so i have been searching and searching for these m & ms that are only at targets and are pumpkin spice....they did not make enough for the demand because they are out, in store and online...ugh ugh! so i have had to resort to the pumpkin spice Hersey's kisses and let me tell you! they are pretty yummy yummy big time yum!  try them for sure i don't even like anything Hersey's but these are yummy!

neighbors....

we had a great night with out neighbors. The three houses, us and our two neighbors were putting up their Halloween decorations and it was so nice to know chloe can run over house to house play with the kids be totally safe and not have to worry about her. They didn't even get upset when chloe went over and stepped on one of their lights and crushed it..ugh kids...lol

we then had a camp fire in our backyard and did smores! feeling really blessed to have found a home that has great people living in the same neighborhood and that can be great friends! Some people out there can be so rude..never wave or say high to you when you ride or walk by....i would have to say we have a pretty friendly neighborhood! my one neighbor even came and filled my tire when he saw i was stressing about it being flat so i could get to the auto shop while shane was at work! amazing right! there are good people out there in the world! you just ave to start with a smile and give everyone a chance!

A not so exciting but very normal Saturday

With fall coming i am ready to put up my Halloween Decorations! excited to show chloe the spooky fun i have in my tubs in the storage closet. She is so naughty and so sweet all at the same time. She is helping me pull stuff out and being so sweet. Then later throws a tantrum and has to go to time out...lol What a girl...Gotta love her.

I love the Big Bang Theory its such a funny show. I wish they would put it on Netflix so we can watch it from the beginning..same with How i met your mother. They need to update the seasons. They need to update these shows on netflix! 

Got Chloes fall photos done today! always an exhausting time. Shes a ham but never stays still for the pictures. And with her hair growing a little its hard to manage and keep it staying down. It sticks up and flys around...we still got something cute out of the session so that good. 

We will be going to the pumpkin patch next week which should be was more exciting then last year when she was only 10 months old....

mother hood..... parenthood....Life.....

Being a parent is rough! its hard to ask yourself....do i work harder and more to give my child an amazing life? or do i stay home as much as i can to spend as much time with them as i can even if i cant send them to college. lol

Do i spoil them and give them all the love i can? or am i strict and discipline them to listen and obey?

Its hard to find a happy medium, to be the best of both worlds and still be an amazing husband or wife...an amazing worker, best friend, daughter, granddaughter...

we wear so many hats and we are always trying to be the best in each relationship we have.

But I'm here to say we cant be the best at everything all the time! Relax and live life to the fullest...be happy don't try and be happy.

eyebrows? continued....

So my loving husband did not have a chance to read my blog because as soon as he got home he said...whats wrong with your face... you look permanently angry! so...i have taken his suggestions and improved the brows...my coworkers said i did they still too light..baby steps people. baby steps...

So its not a mystery that i don't have eyebrows...its been brought up more and more among conversations lately. Its not so much that im lazy about my eyebrows its just that i don't see it as something to focus on. Well...due to popular demand i am going to try my best to get the eyebrow thing right...its so hard though...I'm going to have to find a happy medium between chola and Caterpillar....wish me luck..and FYI don't make fun of my if  you see me but do! do! please tell me if it looks like my eyebrows are confused or i have that shocked look. hahahaha

pumpkin addiction continued....

The pumpkin spice truffle from Godiva is amazing! The pumpkin Frap from Coffee Bean and tea leaf is also very tasty very different from Starbucks it light and not heavy on the coffee flavor. Sadly enough i am not a fan of the Starbucks pumpkin frap...the hot latte is yum though

mommy body...ugh..so over it!

I have to say its hard to really honestly love the body you are in. I have been working out since chloe was born. I have had my weight roller coaster up and down up and down. Having a thyroid problem has totally slowed my metabolism and has had me felling devastated every time i look in the mirror after weeks of consistent work outs and seeing no change. Its difficult for me to find new workouts that will actually show and effect on my body. I have not lost a consistent pound. I have lost inchs thought which is nice but not good enough. My face is so full and round from the shoulders up you could never tell lol 

The past two weeks i have been working out harder then ever. Giving it 150% to try and see some results. I do feel like I'm tightening up...But I'm going get burnered out really soon . This level of working out is not logical for a working mother...

I'm stuck..do i kill myself to finally reach my weight loss goals...or do i fell satisfied with this new mommy body and just strive to be healthy.....i have cut down almost totally on drinking soda...carbs...sweets....what else can i do...lol 

October is around the corner!

So excited for October! The weather is already cooling down! I can go for a run whatever time of day i want! I am in such a good mood with the cool weather! Now its time to get the calender set up with all the October events. From pumpkin patches to carnivals to Halloween events! Cant wait. Chloe already has about 4 Halloween costumes so ill have to have enough events for her to wear them all! lol This is the first year she will really understand everything.. I wonder if she will be a scaredie cat like me or brave and daring like her daddy? 

Chloes first poop in the potty.....

potty training has been a tasking event. Chloe pottys when she feels like it...not when she needs to. So its definitely teaching me a new level of patience as a parent. But one day after sitting Chloe on the potty for a while...i ask her if she has peed..she says no..so i asked her to stand up and woooowzzaa a big huge turd was in the bucket! wooohoooo I have never cheered for poop to much in my life! The crazy things we do once we have babies...

She has been doing allot better going pee pee in the potty while we are home so it a work in progress.

summerlin consigment update....from the as they grow sale

so....i must have totally miss understood the sale season. Becasue i organized all of Chloes 4 times hand me down clothes to sell and drove all the way down to a building next door to Arizona Charles which by the way in my opinion is not Summerlin...to find out that since it was the winter/fall sale they were only taking winter clothes to sell. What a disappointment because prepping for this sale is allot of work from inputting everything into the computer. To printing the tags, cutting them out, pinning the clothes. So, i was only able to give a few items and only made $26 bucks....

There will be another sale for the winter/fall clothes Oct 19th which i plan of taking a few items to sell again!

I think that selling items with this company is so popular that so many people bring stuff to sell that there is too many items. The building was jam packed full of clothes. Probably around 20 full racks top and bottom filled with clothes.

As a shopper it gets overwhelming to try and focus and find what size clothes you want..I feel like they need to get bigger racks to really spread the clothes around so they are not so jammed together and shoppers have room to look.

all and all disappointed and hoping for a better experience in the Henderson sale next month.

95 calorie pumpkin muffins

These muffins are easy to make and taste great...one can of pumpkin and one box of butter pecan cake mix....I added dark choc chips on top but I don't recommend it because the chips just stayed melted on top.

Summerlin consignment

There is a summerlin sale next month and I'm going to sell for the first time. First I had to pay a $10 consign fee connected to paypal (which I don't know why or what it goes to) in order to get a number. I then imput each item in their system and the price I want to sell it for. They want you to organize your clothing on hangers and safety pin the clothes to the hanger....so far I have spent $13.47 (10 to paypal and 3.47 at walmart on the saftey pins. Ill have to subtract that from my total if I make a profit in the end....

Summers coming to an end.....

I haven't posted lately due to a crazy busy summer. Started with my sister and niece and nephew  coming to visit. Then my godparents and cousin. Then our cousin got married in California. With all the fun and festivities coming to an end our schedules are starting to get back to normal. I do miss our families that live on different sides and ends of the states but I'm glad to get back to a routine. First up....potty training...we have bought materials and let the games begin.....I also need to get back on a healthy eating and workout plan. I am super super excited for the fall it's my favorite time of year.

Glade wax melts review.....

The new glade wax melts are a hit in my house..they smell amazing for a long time. I usually used the Walmart brand and senscy melts. The Walmart ones are cheap but don't last very long. The senscy melts smell the best but are expensive. So the glade is reasonable in price and last surprisingly long. Check them out they are at Walmart for 2.98

Almost new kids consigment sale review

So...I went to the sale around 9am the as they grow sale already had a line at that time a month before so I decided to go early. To my surprise no one was in the parking lot or in line. When I looked through the window there was about 15 percent of merchandise compared to the AWTG sale. A worker came up to the window and asked if I wanted to shop? I of course said yes yes lol. The selection was very minimal. I did find what I was looking for though. A graco front facing carseat for only $20. Amazing price....I also found 2 padded bathing suits for 4 each. One for now one for next yr. So, the sale was a success for me. I also got an extra brand new boppy for 10. I got everything I wanted, but for a new mommy it didn't have much to choose from. Not many shoes either. Ill be awaiting the fall sales...hopefully they will be worth the wait.

There are apps, dinner and dessert all affordable and delicious. If I don't like something she cooks with I improvise with something my family will eat. Yummiest.......

I love love this pesto sauce add it to anything to get extra garlic yummy flavor....just one spoon full make a big flavor difference.....

Smiths wipes sale buy 4 get each for .99 each...this week stock up while you can. It's a great way for new moms to try all the types of wipes sensitive, baby fresh, etc. our family uses the sensitive brand, I swear by pampers brand...and I love getting it at a discount..lol

Cleaning Friday.......

I love love this stuff. It is the same product as any name brand store. I buy it from the dollar store and us it to clean everything, high chair, stroller, kitchen, bathrooms anything...smells lemon fresh....

Fresh basil snipped right from our garden....caprisi grilled cheese sandwhichs for dinner tomorrow...so great to grow fresh and teach Chloe to love nature and how to garden....she always picking and eating the strawberries to early and their bitter though lol....

Don't ever pay for choc dipped strawberries...I mean if you are getting them delivered that's one thing but they are so easy and cheap to make your self. It really intimidating to do you think it takes real skill and art...no..just melt dip and enjoy...try it..you will really impress yourself...no matter how they look the first time they will still taste amazing...

Hmmmm....potty training...well I am scared to say this the next step we are going to have to take...the dreaded potty....Chloe is very interested in the potty. In what goes on in the bathroom and why we sit on the noisy chair...so wish me luck...we are about to board the potty train....tooottoohoot.  Any tips? I have never potty trained anyone so? I mean not even a puppy..lol

The body...completely different after having a baby...

Now don't get me wrong I love being a mommy. But the mommy body..well not so much! Not only do I feel like a failure for not losing the 15 pounds of baby weight I'm still dragging around. But I have lost over half of my hairs thickness, and stretch marks...I'm like a California freeway! Ugh.....it's going to take time to get used to the new you my doctor says. This is your body now embrase your new metabolism. Yeah fricken right! New mommies out there, I feel you...it's hard accepting that our bodies were made to create life. And in that process some parts never bounce back, but you are beautiful. You are amazing and we all need to realize how amazing our bodies are. Capable of creating and birthing life....woman power lol

Becoming a better Filipino mommy too....

I am currently trying to be a better Filipino lol. Or should i say Filipina? Shane loves pan cit and this was my second attempt at making it. And let me tell you way better then the first time. It was actually edible. I'm going to attempt to make it again next week for my work potluck. I'll have to see if it passes the test by my professional Filipino coworkers...wish me luck...oh, and Chloe loved it...num num num she said. Nice to know it passed the Irish, Filipino, Puerto Rican toddler test....
